The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) engages people to remove trash from our our oceans and waterways. Over 16 million ICC volunteers have collected more than 340 million pounds of trash. We are honored to take part in this effort and hope you will join us in making our coasts cleaner and healthier!Community volunteer events take place rain or shine. Volunteer projects are dependent on the season and the needs of the park. Closed toe work shoes required. Do not bring additional bags, as there is really no place to store belongings. What to wear/bring:– Your own reusable water bottle!– Sturdy, closed-toe shoes– Long pants– Comfortable clothing that can get dirty– Sunscreen– Optional: Hat
Keep all personal items with you at all times, as we will not have a secure area for bags. For the safety of our staff and volunteers, if on the day of the project you aren’t feeling well, STAY HOME! It is not worth the risk to you or to others.
